2,537 CANDIDATES FROM 28 PARTIES BATTLE FOR N'ASSEMBLY SEATS.

The Independent National Electoral Commission has stated that 2,537 candidates from 28 political parties will contest election to fill the 469 seats in the senate and the House of Representatives in the Saturday election.

A three storey-building under construction on Sunday collapsed at the Apapa area of Lagos State. The building located at 45, Ladipo Oluwo Street, GRA Apapa, was said to have partially caved in as a result of thunderstorm.
